Triptone Productions

Triptone Productions was created in 2003 by broadcaster and producer, Christian CudnikAmateur radio, Chuck Thompson, Vince Bagli, Paul Harvey and Jon Miller were early radio influences. Christian began his broadcasting career in Baltimore during the early 1990's.  He worked for WIYY before joining heritage rock station WMMR in Philadelphia in 1998. While at WMMR, he was mentored by legendary broadcasters Pierre Robert, Earle Bailey and Joe Bonadonna. Christian also considers Kevin Gunn and Steve Lushbaugh major production influences. While in Philadelphia, he attained the number-one-ranked radio program and was nominated for two Philadelphia AIR Awards including, “Best Field Reporting” and “Best Evening Program-Host.” He hosted Saturday morning programs on St. Louis Public Radio for a decade.

Christian was awarded two Regional Emmy Awards and three Telly Awards for his television work including the Higher Education Channel's, 2008's slave documentary, “Seeking Freedom”. His documentaries have been aired on PBS and include “Enduring Tradition: Ballet in the Heartland", “Collective Improvisation: The Story of Jazz in Saint Louis", “Uncovering Ancient Saint Louis", "Wallace Herndon Smith: Artist Without Boundaries", and "Footsteps into the World Beneath".

He has interviewed a variety of artists including David Robertson, Semyon Bychkov, Joshua Bell, Ozzy Osbourne, REM, Hamiet Bluiett, Roger Waters, Graham Nash, Pokey LaFarge, Peter Boal, Ashley Bouder, Jacques d'Amboise, Jennifer Homans,Tiler Peck, Jennie Somogyi, Robert Fairchild and Sara Mearns.
