Sadly, in the interest of financial and commercial success, this practice has created a sizable void in the production of educational and historically significant programs.

“Triptone” is an independently produced radio program that celebrates the artists who have built the foundation of modern music. The historical contributions of these artists, must be preserved and shared with future generations. It is difficult to imagine a time in which the music of BB King, Etta James, or John Coltrane may be forgotten. For centuries, music has defined and influenced many cultures. Like the collaborations between Igor Stravinsky and the choreography of George Balanchine, to the musical movements of the “Roaring Twenties” and the “British Invasion.” Each generation has had its own path to greatness. “Triptone” shares the passion for music and works to ensure its historical value.
