Triptone Personality Profiles
Christian Cudnik
With a career spanning 10 years of as a radio personality in Philadelphia and Baltimore, Christian Cudnik has independently developed a radio program to help introduce the next generation of music lover to the very foundations of modern music.
“Our hope is to make these artists available on the radio. With the potential of even less restrictions on radio ownership, it's imperative for the public to have options concerning educational and historical programs.”
With a passion for music and education, Christian looks to fill the void left by niche programming.
“Aside from playing records at home, how will our children hear about the artistry of Aretha Franklin or Thelonious Monk? It certainly isn't being provided on the radio. When was the last time you heard a Chet Atkins tune? I mean he only created the 'Nashville Sound!' It's important to share this music. It shaped history and defined our culture.”
With a successful (5) year relationship at legendary WMMR in Philadelphia, Christian and his wife Jennifer decided to live an American dream and made their home in middle America.
“We're very happy to preserve the land thatıs been in our family for many years. There's nothing quite like being part of a family farm.”
Aside from his conservation work in Missouri, Christian is a broadcast member of National Public Radio at the University of Missouri St. Louis.
“We're very fortunate to have public radio. To me, it's paramount to broadcast in the community interest. Public forms of broadcasting like NPR and PBS are dedicated to it. It's a perfect match for me.”
